Kotare candles have been handcrafting multicolored fragrant candles for more then 10 years. We use the finest quality candle making ingredients available in the market place. Mamaku is the outlet for the Waipoua Craft Co-operative formed in 1979. Over 40 skilled local artists and craftspersons supply the large selection of fine quality arts and crafts displayed. We have work in wood (kauri, turning, boards, puzzles, carvings), in fibre (silk, flax, mohair, wool, possum, weaving, hand knits, fabric art, clothing, rugs, blankets, hats, t-shirts etc), in glass (mobiles, jewellery, glasses), in paper (prints, paintings, cards, books, journals, photo albums, bowls, sculpture) and in stone, bone, and shell (carvings, pounamu, paua jewellery, ornaments).
