New Zealand's most northern vineyard and winery. The winery is situated 3.5 km from Kaitaia on the road to Ahipara which is at the southern end of Ninety Mile Beach. The first vines were established in 1984 by vineyard owner Monty Knight, since then the label has earned a reputation for consistent quality, wining numerous awards including two gold medals for their Chardonnay and one gold medal for Shiraz.

The Information Centre in Kaitaia is located at the south end of the town (look for the Lighthouse)... we handle bookings for tour operators, accommodation, and transport around the country (except domestic airlines, inter-island ferry and NZ Railway tickets). Check out the local experts first for impartial, FREE information and bookings.
We also have some great souvenirs for you to buy and take home - reminding you of your wonderful visit to the beautiful Far North. We are open daily 8.30am - 5.00pm (except Christmas Day), our call-minder answers our phone calls when we are busy, so please leave a message. We are VIN (Visitor Information Network) approved.
