Business Training

These three initiatives, organised in conjunction with kiwidotcom, are designed to help local small businesses and their staff improve their knowledge base. They will provide positive support to them in the day to day running of their businesses with the overall vision being the idea that ‘Great Business brings Great Futures'. Over time, they will influence our community and boost our local businesses and client relationships.

2. The ‘Good Shop’ Programme

This involves up to 12 businesses per annum with 2 engagements per business designed to give a short profile of a shopper’s experience. There will be an initial anonymous visit followed by a short evaluation report to the owner/manager. A further anonymous visit will be made two months from the first to gauge improvements or changes. This service will only be available to businesses registered with the Kaitaia Business Association.

3. Great Service Awards

This initiative is designed to reward those businesses providing great customer service experiences received while using Kaitaia businesses. It will also add weight and further value to the ‘Great Service’ workshops and the ‘Good Shop’ programme, both of which are designed to improve shopper experience.
